Obituary of Tyda Jo Keener

Tyda Jo Johnston - Keener, 58, passed on Wednesday, March 03, 2021. She was born to Weldon A. Johnston and F. Jane Johnston in Fort Worth, Texas on May 02, 1962. Tyda worked for many years as a Deli Manager at Kroger and was passionate about seeing the best in people. Bold was an understatement when it came to Tyda, and it was impossible not to share a laugh if she was within an ears reach. She accumulated many friends throughout her lifetime, and had truly never met a stranger. Tyda always had a love for music and brought immense joy to anyone coming into contact with her. Over time, the role of “Aunt Tyda” became her life’s work as she spent a great deal of time with her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She will always be remembered for her tough love and devotion but mostly for her effortless gift of gab. She was an excellent conversationalist. Tyda was preceded in death by her parents, Weldon & Jane Johnston. She is survived by her Brother, Walon Johnston & Wife Kim; sister, Shelly Hill & Husband Brandon; nephews, Kalon Johnston; Kristopher Hume; & Brandon “Lil’ B” Hill. nieces, Kaylee Medrano & Husband, Marco; Cayenne Green & Husband, Derrick; Chasey Hill; and a multitude of great nieces and nephews as well as many friends who will all miss her greatly. A Memorial Of Life will be held at a later date as requested by the family; due to the impacts of COVID-19
