Obituary of Pauline Talley Maxwell

Pauline Talley Maxwell passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 in Arlington, Texas where she had been a resident for fifty years. Pauline was born in Houston Texas and graduated from Lamar High School in 1957. She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Otey Maxwell and a sister, Lyndall Maxwell. She is survived by her sister Frances Hodges of Shenandoah, Texas and brother Tom Maxwell of The Woodlands, Texas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Yvonne Maxwell as well as three nieces. After obtaining both her undergraduate and Master's degree from The University of Texas-Austin, she became a career educator teaching in Houston several years and then thirty-seven years at The University of Texas-Arlington as Assistant Professor of Kinesiology. Pauline authored numerous articles and obtained many skill certifications in her career. She enjoyed traveling with her friends especially to the northwest coast where she experienced many wonderful times. The family will gather to honor Pauline in a private service.
