Obituary of Inez Idora Domes

Inez Idora Beatrice Rucker Domes was received by our Lord on November 6, 2024.  Inez was born on February 11, 1926, in Napoli, New York to Charles and Wanda Henzel.   Inez married Herman Rucker on August 23, 1945.  They had three children: Hermie, Constance, and Cynthia.

Inez was a conscientious worker, and she believed in putting forth your best effort in everything you attempt.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and a knack of calling out the truth.  Her interests included fishing, wood carving, painting, quilting, crocheting, sewing and reading. She believed in being a good steward of your body and soul with prayer being a large part of her life. She said Jesus and Mary took care of her and her children.

Inez is survived by her children: Hermie (Kam), Constance, Cynthia (Ric), grandchildren: Michelle, Patrick (Catherine), and Herman (Ashley); great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Yusuf, Skylar, Taymiyah, A’ishah, Na’ilah, Julia, Adrianne, Musa, Asmaa’, Chloe and Harrison.

Inez is preceded in death by her husband, Herman (1960), her parents Charles and Wanda and her siblings Charles, Alvin, Varner, Irene, Arthur, Edward, Clara and Viola.  

Services: A Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024 at Saint Andrew Catholic Church 3312 Dryden Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76109.

Reception: A luncheon will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Graveside service will be held in Springville, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to "Seeds of Life" a Family and Prenancy Resource Center.
