Obituary of Connie Rae Leavitt

Connie Rae Leavitt, 58, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Service: 11 am Thursday, Wedgwood Baptist Church, 5522 Whitman Ave, Ft. Worth. Visitation: 6 pm - 8 pm Wednesday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Ft. Worth. Connie was born on May 6, 1957 in Fort Worth to Conrad and Gayle Leavitt. She was a 1975 graduate of Southwest High School. Connie loved being outside, the lake and fishing. She loved animals and children. But, mostly Connie loved her children. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Conrad Leavitt. Survivors: Children, Spencer Leavitt and his fiancée, Erika Nichols, Marshal McMullen and Miranda McMullen; mother Gayle Leavitt Pettit and her husband Jim; brothers, Doug Leavitt and his wife Lyn, and Mark Leavitt; many well loved nieces and nephews; and her granddogs.
